Jane did it again, she won my heart and I cried. Bright Star was pretty subtle/soft in comparison with the Piano - if you're going to compare, but it still left a big impression on my heart. I'm not one of those scholarly types that knows about the life of poets, and I didn't know that Keats died young, and loved someone he could not marry. And now I do and it made me cry.
And of course how can I watch this movie and not mention the 'craft'? I loved her sewing throughout, it made me want to sew while I watched it. Sometimes I feel like I have a bit of leftover life in me from old time periods... Did you see the cotton crocheted top she wore (picture below)? Loved it. Love loved it.
