Yesterday I explained the concept of 'snuggling' to my son by my understanding, bury head in pillows and wrap ones self in all blankets on the bed and enjoy (not the other kind of snuggling). It was so rainy and cold (unusual weather for Brisbane, rain comes with warmth around here) that I just didn't want to get out of bed, which for Cee did not cut the mustard. Damn that youthful joy to wake up and live no matter the weather. So he altered my fun to his fun that involved him getting up out of the bed and jumping back into bed while war-crying 'snuggles!'. Close enough. Today we got a spot of sunshine this morning which started to dry up the rain and I had no problems getting out of bed and Cee to school.
That's so cute. Yeah. I think snuggles have a totally different definition for most kids.
