Today I went to the op-shops located on the Annerley strip and came across these three wooden frames. I'm going to sand them back and stain them - and then frame stuff I have that isn't framed or re-frame stuff that's not framed well.
To do:
Buy Danish oil- Sand frames
- Read up on coating wood
- Coat the wood
- Clean glass
- Place the artwork/photos
- Put up on picture shelf
- Finish with posting end result
03/02/2011 - I worked on this today. Went to Bunnings and got stuck looking at stains, polish, varnish and oils. I decided on Danish Oil in the end but if it doesn't work out I have another idea for White Polish. I tell you the science to sealing wood is crazy, no wonder the people down the bottom of my road have had troubles with their fence.
